i seek to sail the sea
she whispered to the waters
the waves stood at peace
before the glistening veil
this will eclipse the sun
the temple in her eyes
to drink from the well of salvation
with the ocean as a guide
the bottle breaks on impact
the gulls begin to fly
she begins her maiden voyage
seeking the passage of life

baptized in the tears of angels
